Our Michelman Innovation Centre for Coatings (MICC) will help the entire packaging value-chain implement more sustainable solutions. The opening of this facility is very relevant because of the recently announced plastic ban in India. This disruption in the industry has made it even more important for manufacturers to remove plastic from their packaging. The Centre includes a packaging incubator with a state-of-the-art pilot line for optimizing packaging structures. Its expanded formulation & application labs include:
- Mocon® OTR/MTVR testing
- Hot tack testing
- Gelbo testing
- Ultrasonic stirrer.
